Tom,
I just need many NORMAL/STANDARD digital inputs and outputs, which i can use for standard logic and some i need access from within the HMI...
For example, my big machineCenter Center has 30 vacuum plates 100mmx300mm in 3 rows 10 per row (2 rows are movable (sorry english is not my main))
row 1 ----------
row 2 ----------
row 3 ---------- (this, the first from the machine front is fix)
the other 2 rows i can move away until 1300mm on linear rails by motors.
every individual vacuum plate from the 30 has a pneumatic zylinder to lift the plate 20mm
and for every plate is a magnet valve for vacuum enable/disable.
The purpose is to have a very heavy and stable vacuumtable which is very flexible in size and because of lift each of the individual small vacuumtable you can mill around the workpiece, without hit other tables.
Each Row gets the vacuum from a separate valve from a big vacuum vessel....
So you can see a lot of inputs for the vacuumtable only....
Every plate is associated with a M command, so you can lift a certain pattern by G.Code by cnc programm.
Even i use 2 KFlop/KAnalog synchroniced by UART (if that will work) , i need more inputs/outputs.
So i would need raw lots of digital I/O...
regards
martin
